Deployment Working Group
The Deployment Working Group creates technical specifications related to a
wide range of deployment environments enabled by MPLS technology. These
specifications enable consistent, interoperability of MPLS between different
implementations including the areas of forwarding, signaling, routing, operation and
maintenance, resiliency and security. The working group also addresses interworking
of technologies with MPLS.
Certification Working Group
The Certification Working Group focuses on certification requirements and ATS development to drive the technical aspects of the IP/MPLS Forum Certification Program. The Certification WG works closely with the other Technical Committee WGs and the testing institution to ensure coordination and technical intent of the test specifications, and serves as the primary technical interface to the testing institutions.
Applications Working Group
This working group creates technical specifications related to a wide range of
applications, focusing on those running over MPLS networks. In particular, the
working group considers user, control plane, interworking, and operations and
maintenance aspects of new applications of MPLS.
